What is the difference between Psychiatric APN and Therapist?

Counseling and psychiatry both play a vital role in recovery. Counselors or therapists can help you devise a personalized plan to overcome challenges, but they cannot prescribe medication. Psychiatrists and nurse practitioners are medical providers licensed to provide medication management services in mental health.

What are the differences between in-person and online psychiatry?

Do you take health insurance or Medicare/Medicaid?

An invoice for services provided will be given to you for possible reimbursement from your insurance provider. Here are some insurance companies that we work with: BCBS, Aetna, United Health Care, Cigna, Oxford, and Oscar Health.

Can an online APRN prescribe medication?

An online APRN in Illinois can prescribe all medication related to mood disorders including Controlled Schedule II medications, such as stimulants and benzodiazepines.

How do I get my medications?

You pick it up at the pharmacy of your choice right after our online visit. If you receive mail order delivery services, you will also be able to use this service.
